Today I feel to share about osteoporosis, some educative posts would more helpful to human life. October 20th celebrating osteoporosis day, Which is an awareness program conducting every year across the globe, let us take this as awareness and spread out.
Osteoporosis is nothing but bones with holes, which is the most common bone disease and has not any particular symptoms, In this disease, the bone becomes very weak almost which is ready to break when you are walking, lifting some hard, and anytime.
Menopause is a major risk factor of osteoporosis in the woman. a recent survey says that above the age of 50 one woman having osteoporosis in every three also called Postmenopausal osteoporosis.
A proper diagnosis like a Bone Mineral Density test may patients come to know the strength of the bone- Calcium content and which detects osteopenia (mild bone loss, usually without symptoms) and osteoporosis (more severe bone loss, which may cause symptoms).
Prevention of Osteoporosis is regular weight-bearing and muscle-strengthening exercise. Make sure that adequate Calcium Supplementary food Such as Milk, dairy products, fish, egg, beans, green leafy vegetables, along with Vitamin D. Hence osteoporsis is a silent killer especially in women so spread the awarness and stay healthy, be happy.
